What is your level of experience at local venues?
We have provided our services at every popular venue in the City of Kenora along with many other locations. We have strong relationships with the management teams allowing us to operate very efficiently. No matter where we are providing our service, we guarantee professional results.

If you have not provided your service at our selected venue, will you arrange a site visit?
If we have not provided our service at your venue and it is within Kenora city limits, we would be more than willing to arrange a site visit. Should your venue fall outside of Kenora city limits, we will do our research on the venue well in advance of your booked date to ensure there are no surprises the day of.

Is your equipment reliable?
At Wolfe Sound & Music, we use nothing but the best equipment on the market to guarantee a reliable service.

Do you have high quality speakers?
Yes, all of our speakers are built by Electro Voice and RCF. Electro Voice and RCF are industry standard brands in the world of pro audio that have been building high quality products for many years.

Do you use wired or wireless mics?
At Wolfe Sound & Music, we have a wide variety of microphones to meet your needs. We are capable of providing both wired and wireless microphones depending on the requirements of your event.

How far in advance should we book your services?
We encourage you to book our services as far in advance as possible. This secures your desired date and allows us to develop a strong relationship with you and answer any questions you may have in the time leading up to your event.

Do you have testimonials from previous clients?
Yes, Wolfe Sound & Music is grateful for everyone we have been able to serve and are thankful that many are willing to share their experience with us. Reviews can be found on our Facebook page or by visiting our testimonial page.

How would you describe your style?
At Wolfe Sound & Music, we hold ourselves to a very high standard. We would describe our style as being very professional as well as highly personalized to meet your every need. We value clients greatly and want to provide them with the professional and personalized service they deserve.

Are you licensed and insured?
Yes, Wolfe Sound & Music is a fully licensed and insured company ready to meet your needs.

Will your expertise be available throughout the planning process of our event?
We are available 24/7 to answer any questions or concerns you may have regarding our responsibilities at your event. We are here for you.

Do you have any hidden fees or added costs?
No. When you receive a quote from Wolfe Sound & Music, the rate you see is the total for the service you have asked us to quote for your event.

Do you have a contract?
Yes. Once you have confirmed that you would like to book one of our services, we will email you a contract that highlights all essential details we have discussed in our prior conversations. This contract is to be signed and sent back to us to confirm your understanding of the service you have hired.

Do you require a deposit?
Yes. Wolfe Sound & Music requires a deposit of 25% of the total rate to officially secure your booking. This deposit in non-refundable. Details regarding this deposit are outlined in our contract.

Do you require a meal when providing your service at our event?
We do not require in our contract that a meal must be provided, however, we do have a great appreciation for quality food!

Do you have any specific power requirements?
Our set ups vary in size depending on the event we are providing our services for. Therefore, our power draw never remains consistent from event to event. We believe it is our responsibility to confirm with your venue that we will have a significant amount of power available to exceed our needs.

Can you provide your own power?
Should your venue not have a sufficient power source, for an additional cost, we can provide a generator to power our equipment. Note* This is not a hidden cost. Should a generator be needed for your event, it will be discussed upfront and included in our contract.

What is your focus?
At Wolfe Sound & Music, we believe our focus is to provide you with the professional and personalized service you deserve. We want the absolute best for our clients and are thankful for all of the opportunities that we have had to serve couples, committees and musicians in Northwestern Ontario.

What will you wear to our event?
We always present ourselves in a respectful and professional manner.

Do you set up a sign or banner at your events?
At weddings, we never set up signs or banners for we believe the focus of the event should be the bride and groom. However, at other functions we may set up a sign or banner given permission is granted by the event coordinator.

What types of events do you provide your services for?
We have provided our DJ service for a wide variety of events including: weddings, socials, school dances, holiday parties, private parties, corporate functions and many other special occasions. We have provided live sound support for a wide variety of events including concerts, conferences, wedding ceremonies, fishing tournaments, graduation ceremonies and private parties.

How much information do you need prior to my event?
Once you have confirmed Wolfe Sound & Music to provide one of our services at your event, you will receive a personalized client portal designed specifically for you by the team at Wolfe Sound & Music. This portal will provide you with a central location to view and edit details related to the service you have hired. This portal covers all of the information we will require from you prior to your event. Once we have invited you to create a login for your portal, you can access it on any browser by following the link on our website or directly on your phone or tablet by downloading our mobile app from the Apple App Store or Google Play. We will invite you to the portal when we have received the deposit to secure your booking.

How much time will you need to set up?
Depending on the size of the event we are providing our service for, the set up time will vary. Details regarding set up time will be discussed with you well in advance of the date of your booking.

Who will be our DJ?
Wolfe Sound & Music has two professional DJ’s. Steven Wolfe and John Tsentouros. Both Steven and John have been involved in the DJ industry for many years and have always delivered a professional and personalized service. Depending on your event date, Steven or John will be serving you.

What sets you a part from your competition?
We pride ourselves in providing the most professional and personalized DJ and live sound service in Northwestern Ontario. We have the experience, the knowledge, the equipment and the high quality customer service that no other company or individual DJ has in our region. It is our priority to provide you with the professional and personalized service you deserve.

How do you handle song requests?
This question will be answered by the individual who has hired our DJ service. In the scenario of a wedding, the bride and groom will answer this question in their client portal. The bride and groom will have the choice to allow, restrict or decline the opportunity of song requests at their reception.

Can you help us pick songs?
Of course, we would be more than willing to provide you with a list of song suggestions for any moment of your wedding ceremony or reception. Don’t be afraid to ask for help, we are here for you.

Can we pick the songs for the entire evening?
We strongly suggest that you do not predetermine all of the music that will be played at your event. We specialize in being able to effectively read and respond to the energy of your guests. With this being said, we do greatly appreciate a list of song suggestions or genres you would like to hear throughout the night as well as a list of songs or genres you do not want to hear. In the scenario of a wedding, details regarding song choice are highlighted in the PDF file to the bride and groom.

Do you have a large music library?
Yes. Wolfe Sound & Music has a constantly growing library of over 16,000 songs. If you request a song that is not in our current library, we will be sure to have it added prior to your event.

Do your DJ’s have good public speaking skills?
Yes, both Steven and John are very comfortable on a microphone and are willing to make any announcements you wish to have throughout the duration of your event.
